15 minutes - from start to finish
Setup your 31Events account
Getting your account is easy, just click the “Start Your Free Trial” text in the upper right hand corner of our page. Provide the information requested, and we will send you an email to verify your email address. Once verified, just press the login button and your ready to enter your first event.






Create your first event
Creating events is simple. If you’ve sent out meeting requests for your company, or send anyone a calendar invitation, you’re already familiar with the process.
With 31Events, you need to have the following ready:
Your Event start/end date and time
Event Location, either physical or online
Event Details for the message
Optionally, we provide the ability to add two graphics to your event, a banner graphic and a coupon graphic.
With that information, you can quickly create an event.








Get the code
We provide pre-configured code for your website, just click the Code button, a window will pop-up, scroll down until you find the modal (widget) you want, highlight it, and copy it.





Embed into WordPress (or other webpage)
With the code in your systems clipboard, the webpage you are designing and paste it in.
We use industry iFrame to embed your event information and the opt-in box. There isn’t anything additionally you need to configure – just make sure the embedded code works within your pages design. We have over 20 variations, from a simple opt-in box, to pop-up windows, to automatically displayed splash pages.
Test various modals to see which one works best for you and your website.







You're LIVE!
Congratulations! Your event is now live on your website. Any of your site visitors can now input their email address and receive a calendar invitation for your event.
Use in Your Email Campaigns
Integrate within your email marketing campaigns
Email is the number one marketing tactic used in today. It’s easy and inexpensive, and many marketing experts say your email list the most valuable resource you have.
With 31Events, we provide you a pre-configured link for three of the most popular email service providers on the market today, all you need to do is copy that link into the email message and in one click, your customers will be sent a calendar invitation.
Integrate with MailChimp
Open up the code window for your event, click on the Email tab and scroll down to the MailChimp logo. You have two link options:
- One Click invitation – this does what it says, once clicked, it sends a calendar invitation directly to them. It will either forward users to your landing page or to the event details on 31Events.
- Two Click invitation – when this link is clicked, we present an event details page with an opt-in button

Integrate with ConstantContact
Open up the code window for your event, click on the Email tab and scroll down to the ConstantContact logo. You have two link options:
- One Click invitation – this does what it says, once clicked, it sends a calendar invitation directly to them. It will either forward users to your landing page or to the event details on 31Events.
- Two Click invitation – when this link is clicked, we present an event details page with an opt-in button

Integrate with ExactTarget
Open up the code window for your event, click on the Email tab and scroll down to the ExactTarget logo. You have two link options:
- One Click invitation – this does what it says, once clicked, it sends a calendar invitation directly to them. It will either forward users to your landing page or to the event details on 31Events.
- Two Click invitation – when this link is clicked, we present an event details page with an opt-in button

Integrate with other Email Service Providers
For use with any other email service provider, the best practice would be sending them to the landing page for your event. An alternative would be to include a link to the one of your modals – the are all live webpages, with full event information included. Just copy the link and paste it into your email message.
